Biography

Cullen Paul Wright was born November 3rd 1981 in the small town of Kearney Nebraska. From an early age he had an obsession with movies. He realized his calling when he saw E.T. and first understood the power of movies. From that point on, he always knew he want to be a director. His parents encouraged the exploration of the creative side but secretly hoped he would grow up to be a doctor. So he secretly pursued his bsession. He entered the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in the Pre-Med program, while continuing to pursue his passion for film. Then one fateful day he happened onto the set of About Schmidt. After meeting the director, Alexander Payne, Cullen convinced himself to shed his Pre-Med major in pursuit of his one true love. He spent the next few years convincing his parents and his friends that it would be possible and landed in Hollywood on August 25th, 2007. He has spent his first six months in Hollywood making films, working with some of the top professionals in their respective fields.
