Biography

I’ve been in corporate video production for the last 15 years. I started as a production manager and then became a director and then a producer. I’ve created my own company, « OWOW ! Communications », in 2003. I’ve worked on more than 50 videos about subjects ranging from cow reproduction to psycho social research. I love what I do but I’ve wanted to make a real movie for the last 20 years. On September 18, I saw the theme for the month « The First Day » and right away I was inspired. I wrote the story in 15 minutes, called my friend to know if she wanted to do it, got my DOP on board and shot it the next Tuesday. My brother-in-law had passed away the Sunday before. So it was very emotional for me. I’ve got many other projects in mind and I feel like I’ve broken the ice. You'll see more of my creations in the future. I love photography and I’m working on books of pictures from my Mom who became a photographer at 68 (I guess we’re late bloomers) and did it for ten years until she passed away. I also love cooking especially big salads and I’m working on a cook book to sell online. I will be on Canadian television next November as a contestant in a cooking show. That was a blast and my salad was crowned the best salad in Quebec !
