Biography

Max and Michael are a directing duo from london whose films are characterised by strong performances, dry humour and a photographic visual style. Their work comprises commercials, virals, documentaries, music videos and scripted drama for clients including Land Rover, Flora, X-Box, Guinness, Nestle, The Red Cross and Channel 4. Their films have won Gold twice at the Campaign Big Awards, a Worldmedal from the New York Advertising Festival and they were finalists at the 2009 CFP-E Shots Young Director of The Year Award at Cannes. 'Taxi' for Land Rover was also longlisted for the 2009 APA Show of Britain's Best Commercials. Digital work includes writing and directing a 6 part web thriller for Nestle, the multi-award winning NSPCC Campaign 'Don't Hide It' and 'Slaughterhouse', an anti-smoking viral for Cancer Research which was so successful that it went on to screen in cinemas nationwide.
