A young woman receives an unexpected phone call from her mother. As she races to reach her in time, her mother reveals secrets of her family's past. Their peaceful middle class family is not what it seems.
As the daughter of actress Gerd Schottländer and artist Svend Hauptmann Nana very early on started to explore the world of arts and stage art. She studied dance since the age of seven, and played in two Danish films at the age of seven and eight. At 19 she went to Spain to study flamenco and traveled around the world, taking classes, teaching ad performing. In 2002 she started working with Danish performance artist Signa Sørensen, and through various prizewinning performances in Denmark, Sweden and Spain, explored the concepts of identity, reality and fiction. In 2004 she started working with spatial installation art, studying in Japan to work deeper into the field. She gave birth to her daughter, Una Lily, in 1996. Nana continues to work with dance, performance and spatial installation art, but has found a new interest in moviemaking and playing in front of the camera. She enjoys the intimacy between the camera and the actor, and the process of letting her character become alive.

MARIA KIHLBERG
Maria went out travelling when she was eighteen and worked as a model in Tokyo, New York, London, Paris and Milan. She always had a keen interest in films and so attended film school in Gothenburg for a year before moving to Stockholm, where she now lives. She had dreams of working her way up in movies and being a director one day. Instead she became an actor and got a part in a long running TV series called Nya Tider on Swedish television. It was a huge learning experience for her and a lot of fun along the way. Maria is the sort of person that jumps on a train and sees where it takes her. Her life has been a lot of chain reactions that turned out for the best. She always keeps her sense of humor and has faith that life will take her where she was meant to go. Acting is a real challenge, but when she is completely in the moment, it is magic.Currently Maria is working with children's film and TV to see where that train takes her.
